Default Network Problems on New Computer

I recently finished building my new computer, and everything but the internet seems to work fine. If I plug the ethernet cable back into my old computer, though, everything works fine, and I've installed the latest drivers onto the new computer. Also, when I go to check the network connections in the control panel, it says that the connection is up and running and I have under 100 outgoing packets no matter how long I've been on for. Just seemed like kind of an odd problem, and this is my last ditch attempt before buying a network card.

Default Network Problems on New Computer

Try rebooting the router while it is plugged into the new PC.

If that doesn't work we can try setting up a manual IP for the new PC, let me know.

Default Network Problems on New Computer

Routers have a habit of doing funny things.

A reboot sorts 99% of them.

Glad it's sorted. :)
