Default Network problems with new lan card

hi guy i upgraded my internal 100mb lan card and got a 1 gb lan card from the router it goses though to 2 dlink 1 gb switches and when i plug the cable to the new lan card i get automatted priavte adress but when i plug it back ...

but when i plug it back into the onboard lan ti conects fine


my network is setup to get ip from the dhcp
i has been reladed as i needed one but the error did not fix it self

as i know about network and made them heaps of tiem first time this has happend

all help is welcome if more info is needed juts ask

tryed diffent cables made no diffence

Well an Automated Private Address is what you get when the computer can't find a DHCP server to get an IP addrss
