Default networking problems

Hi,

i think that the problems i have been facing are caused by my recently installed D-Link wireless adapter. While trying to install the device it asked me to insert the windows 98 disc, which at the time i could not locate. So when it tried to install files from the disc i accidently pressed skip instead of install. Although the adapter is working and connects to the net i am having some major problems.

Before windows loads i get the following message:

Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows Application.

The windows registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists.

If you deleteded this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstal feature.

If you wish to continue using the application please try reinstalling that application again.

vnetsup.vxd
Press any button to continue

After pressing enter the same message reappears however the vnetsup.vxd changes to vredir.vxd. Again i press enter and receive the above message again, only the file given is dfs.vxd.

Windows then continues to load, but before loading the desktop fully the following message appears:

Unable to load the dynamic link library:

msnp32.dll

System cannot find the file

Some or all of the following feature is not availiable

Microsoft NEtwork

Windows continues to load but after loading the following message appears:

The ANIOPO.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6467

Then windows loads fully. However the usb adapters program does not load to the system tray and i have to manually load it.

Please can someone out there help me? I can live with have to go through this every time i load the computer but i would rather not.

EDIT: I have also located the windows 98SE disc

Thanks in advance

Default networking problems

Remove it from add remove programs then re-install.

Just as a note, never skip past when it asks for the win disc, the PC needs those files for a reason.
