hi
im looking to get a new wireless card (internal) for my laptop so i can run wireless on linux (my card is one of the 10 that arent supported)
how much would i be looking at for one and where from
just fire up some links and ill check about linux compatibility

You looking for a pcmcia card. I use a senao NL-2511cd plus 200mw. it uses prism chipset with the hostap driver in linux. It also goes into monitor mode. Thats why i luv this thing lol.
What ever card you decide to get, buy it from the USA. theres a law here in the UK, 100mw max power. If your not bothered about power then get one from anywhere i guess.

whats all the mw power i guess thats the range off it ?
in america they have a legal router that reachers 14 miles! if you touch it you get cancer lol
