Hi,

I have a problem with browsing on internet on my laptop. It runs on windows vista and used to work fine. I installed mcaffee. After a while mcaffee didnt do any updates anymore, everything else was still okay. About a month later also internet explorer and msn messenger didnt work anymore. I tried:
1) remove mcaffee service center software
2) turned off all firewalls
3) checked proxy settings
4) tried to reinstall tcp/ip settings

nothing seems to work. It looks like my internet port 80 is blocked, because i do have a good connection and i can still receive email, skype or ping to a website.

any help is welcome

Read the following link, do what it says and post your logs in the virus and malware section. You are ate up with malware it sounds like.
