I dont know if this tread belongs here, but I have a problem, I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 and I don't have the drivers for the ehternet controller and system base controller, the problem started whem I installed Win Xp

ok, a little problem, after I finish downloading it, whem I run the setup it said's access denied, and it doesn't let me install the driver, what could that been?

you have full administrive rights on your computer dont you?

when you click you download it save it instead of runing it.Then got to device manager and right lcik on the ethernet controller and sbc and then update driver then follow the intructions

thats what i do to, but it doesnt let me, whem i go to device manager an do that the driver doesnt appear whem i do the search for it,
