The problem at hand is i have two desktops. one a older computer and one a newer dell with a built in wireless n card. the older one is hardlined but the newer one is conected via wireless N linksys router. They were connected to dsl. and i was attempting to switch them over to my new connection that i have. I plugged the new connection in and it and nothing will work i have tried every reboot process that i know and resetting of the router, i have even went as far as to uninstall the wirless card in the new one and let it reinstall itself upon startup. I know the connection is good i can use it without the router. I have plugged the old conection back in and reset everything but i still have no wireless but i can hardline them to work. This is a newer router and has not been abused. Does anyone have ideas please?

I Fixed my own problem the router was set to a pppoe. I just changed the setting and re did the configuration on the router and after that most of everything was alright except for the one newer desktop it was still having some issues. The problem with that one was the Dell Wireless settings was set to lets an outside program control the configuration, and u want that one to be unchecked thus, you want the card and the computer to configure itself.
