Default Router problem -.-

Hello, so I have this problem with my router. I have a ADSL connection, and I need to connect it manually from my computer. If I won't connect it the download speed sits at 120kb/s, but when I do then it goes to around 300. And I got this router recently it's a trendnet TEW-632BRP. So when I put the router between the modem and the computer I can't connect ADSL, and well my internet is really slow with it's 120 kb/s speed. I was wondering how could I solve this problem? Perhaps I could get some detailed info about my router and how to do it. I'm not really good with routers.
Cheers!

You should have gotten a manual with the router, you need to go through that and set it up properly.

Hi there

You can grab a manual for this router here - http://downloads.trendnet.com/TEW-632BRP/Manual/

Its in PDF format so you will need either adobe acrobat or any other PDF reader software. In the manual it goes through all the steps for setting up the router.

Ok, no luck so far. I read the manual and used the easy setup thingie. There are two options, one is used for connecting a new router behind your old one and the other one is replacing your old router with a new one, and behind that router is a DSl modem. I did the last one, tho I didn't had a router before. Everything went as it should, but I still can't connect my ADSl connection and the download speed remains seriously low. Any other ideas? I also tried to do the router+router setup, but that gave me an error.
