| Help! I've been using Alltels UM175 Starcom usb modem for wireless internet and have been able to ad hoc and share the connection until recently. I am using two hp laptops both running vista. Can still ad hoc fine and get on the internet on the hp with the Starcom plugged in it but can't on the other. Just says local only. Have tried numerous setting changes but no luck. No viruses on either. Tried automatic detection of settings and user defined. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Sean |
