| Hi I have set up a wireless home network between this PC and the one next door. How do I set up the printer so that it is accesible on the network ? thanks Dean Last edited by Dave Hybrid : 24-06-2007 at 10:29 PM. |

| couple ways. Easiest would be to attach it to the pc that is on the most (for instance, at my house I have my home rig and my wife has her business laptop; home rig is on pretty much 24/7, so I have the printer attached it it) then right click printer > properties > sharing > tick 'share this printer', give it a name, then go to the other pc and map it out. Start > settings > printers > add new printers > from network > tick 'connect to this printer' and enter in '\\name of pc that it's attached to\name of printer'. Less the quotes, of course. |
