| im thinking of switching from aol to sky to get a better price and speed the package im looking at is sky mid package, it has a 40gb usage allowance. im just curious how easy that is to fill. my downloads are rare and when i do download its normally work related and 4mb's of 'excel' at most. how much will gaming effect this download limit? i waste a good hour with steam games a day, do you guys think it rakes up much in terms of usage? also if i go over the limit, do i get charged etc? cheers all!

| Lol, they are a joint tie with talktalk as being the worst BB company out there IMO. Reliability is not great and their customer service is dire. Unless it's free go with someone else mate.

| I reccomend Eclipse or Freeola The Eclipse business service I have has been superb and there customer support have been extremely helpful in everything I have asked for. (Reverse DNS etc) I switched from Freeola because Eclipse were cheaper but had no problems with Freeola either and there customer support was also excellent. You really really really don't want to sign up for anything Sky sell as Dave said. The don't have customer support as far as I can tell (they never even answered the phone). BT are OK but the customer support is unhelpful and you can never understand what they are saying as all the support is from India. They are also expensive. I have found them to be reliably though. Virgin are good if you are in their network area. But pricy.

| Eclipse are pretty damn good. We never had any problems with them until we moved flat and they decided they would continue to charge us for the service...With BT now, I dread the day I next have to call their customer service, the amount of times they put me on hold then disconnect is a joke...Eclipse FTW IMO.

![]() BT don't have any customer support! They have phone answerers who know nothing about the internet.... and always have to put you through to someone who isn't in the office today...
