Hello,

I'm completely brand new to networking so if I miss something blatently obvious then you can call me an idiot

Anyway I've had to upgrade my modem since Virgin 'forgot' to tell me that mine wasn't compatible with 20 meg service and my new modem is ethernet only where as my old one I could use usb. My computer has 1 network port so I bought a TP-Link TL-SF1008D so I could link my xbox to the computer with the modem in but for some reason it will only send connection to one or the other, it won't share the connection. Before there was a tick box to allow a shared connection but it's not there

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

You're an idiot.

(joking)

Ok, go into Control Panel then network Settings right-click the computer that hosts it and click share connection.

Simple as that. :D

There is nothing in my control panel that's called network settings so I assume you mean network connections? If so I get this...

Again, sorry if I'm missing something obvious
