Default So...Have I got this right? - Home Wireless Network Help

So...Have I got this right?

Good evening/morning/noon/night everyone! (depending on where and when you see this.)
I was wondering if you could possibly help me before I buy a wireless router.

I have:
  • An Internet connection
  • A home computer
  • And a Laptop with built in wi-fi
I would like to set up a wireless network in my home. I have seen this (cclonline.com).

Firstly, could I connect the router to my internet conection.
Then use the USB adapter, which comes with it, to receive the internet on the PC.
And finally, would I be able to connect to the internet using the inbuilt wi-fi on my laptop, thus, enabling the internet on the two computers in my home.

I would appreciate it if someone could confirm my plan would work.

Thanks!
Steve

Yes that is the correct equipment.

The router replaces your current modem.

Then the desktop connects to the router via a cable.

The laptop connects to the router using the USB dongle.

Looks all good.
However, sometimes, the types of walls the wireless are trying to go through, bounce back the signal, and you can not recieve a connection ( My House is Really bad for wireless)

Thanks guys.

It has really reassured me that there is a good chance the system will work without departing any cash. Keep up the good work for us who don't have a clue!
Oh Yeah...My house is pretty cheap, so i'm hoping signal won't be a problem.
