Unhappy some router help please. :-(

hiya - please can someone help me or give me some advice.

me and my brother are on karoo broadband using an etec router. we are constantly getting local connection only or limited connectivity when we try to do more than one thing!!! if i'm downloading, my brother pretty much just can't even browse the internet. and we have no idea why - i don't download huge amounts or anything. when checking the settings etc in the router, there's loads of overruns and errors, and i don't really know what that means. we have rang karoo up many many many tmes - and they keep saying it's something to do with the router or the wireless, which we seem to think is rubbish as this is the second router we have had and we still get the problems even when plugged in with the ethernet cable.
please has anyone got any ideas??? i would be extremely grateful.
thanks, jayne

Advice, mmm let's see.

Get shut of all P2P software as you will cause yourself serious problems as you not only can, but will, be infested with Virus's and spyware etc.

If you want to get rid of it we can help, if not we can't.

Bit torrent software is very demanding on your Internet connection, when it is switched on you will not be able to surf at the same time unless you know how to set it up right.

As bit torrents are illegal downloads we can't help in setting it up, if you want to use you Internet to surf get rid of it IMO.
