Good evening,

I was just wondering what tracert in command on XP was.

I pinged a friends computer and it came back fine.

I then did tracert then the ip address and it showed my ip first then a load more on the 7th hop it said request timed out then carried on and finally got to his computer.

Does it mean theres a prob between our lines? because im still able to send him files but it stalls then carrys on after a few seconds....

Would like a little info,

Regards,
Dean
