Default Trouble connecting laptop to wireless connection.....

Hey peopels,

Just having a few dramas with trying to get my laptop running on my wireless network, if this has been answered please direct me to the right post, first time on this forum.

I currently run my PC through Netgear WG602 access point and have no dramas, i just got given a Laptop from the oldman, Dell Inspiron 6400, it connected to his wireless network with no dramas. So it must be something i'm doing wrong or not doing.

When i go to connect i get the following message,

"Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks, and try to connect again"

I have tried this and still cannot get it to connect......

Any ideas????

Regards

Warren

Have you tried resetting the access point/router. Mine sometimes used to play up and a reset used to solve the problem. Try also reinstalling the wireless driver. This can be found on the manufacturers website if you don't have the recovery disks. Holla if you need help.
