| Plugged ethernet cable into my computer from friends, everything was cool, now I have my own connection and I can not access documents. I click my computer, then click documents and these thing pops up and says, access denied. Not really a big deal, that was empty anyway, but why is this happening. And was this caused by something I did trying to set up a network? I m running XP. thanks |

| I think you might have managed to redirect your My Documents. Right Click on My Documents and then in the pop up window where it says Target Folder Location click on Restore Default. You want the My Documents folder to be pointing at something like C:\Documents and Settings\Username <<< This is your username you log on with. That should sort it. If not post back
