| I have a motorola usb cable modem plugged into my computer via usb...I also have a gigabit ethernet in my system going into a 5 port switch..how do I make my windows xp pro into a router for other machines on the switch? Is there any 3rd party software? ThanksHow do I make it DHCP enabled? Meaning using ICS, all computers have to manually setup to be able to share the internet connection, is there a way to make it automatic? Thanks |

| Here's how to set up an ICS directly from Microsoft's mouth:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2348...-Unfortunately no. You cannot set up DHCP. You have to manually type in the IP's. Sorry. I assume you know how to do that already though. |
