Default Unblocking Ports!!!

Hi there i was wondering if anyone could please help me. I have purchased a Belkin Wireless G Router (F5D7230-4). Basically ive been using torrents for a while now adn i use the program Bit Tornado but now ive gone wireless i get extremely slow speeds ive been told i need to unblock the ports on my router!! Can some one please tell me how to unblck the ports?? Many Thanks
