Hey everyone, just a quick bit of help needed. I have one RJ-45 Cat5e cable leading into a room to a computer from a router. Now i have a need to have 2 computers in the room connected to the internet. There is no way i can get another cable into the room.

So would a 5 port switch by someone like Linksys or Netgear do the job? The way i imagine it is the cable already in the room goes into the switch, then two cable come out the other ports into the items needing the connection? Is that right? Many Thanks.
