well anyway i just got a 3g card for my laptop on pay as you go and it is charing my £2 per mb :0 where as it should be £15 per gb. do anyone know if i need to sign up to something to get the cheaper cost like a bolt on or something? if that isnt possible do anyone know if i can buy the usb 3g modem that is on £15/gb and put the sim card in my pcmcia 3g card and use it as normal because i dont really want to use the usb modem as i only have 1 usb port and that isnt exactly working 100%.

It sounds as if a contract would be cheaper....

I have the Vodaphone USB Modem Stick, shown here

You can remove the SIM, but whether it will work out of the stick I dont know. Why not ring them and ask.

I can confirm it's £15 per gb and if you dont use it, it, it rolls over for 6 months, before you lose it.
