Im just wondering wat kind to get for my new comp . I plan to do a lot of online gaming

100 is pretty much standard today.

1000 is fairly new and as far as I know most broadband is slower than it so it won't make any difference on a normal network.

As broadband gets faster, faster network equipment will be needed.

what about for online gaming? does it T1 + internet faster?

No, your internet is only as fast as your internet connection.

Having a network speed x10 you broadband speed will make no difference at all.

okay so it doesn't help gaming or normal speeds its 30$ more than 10/100 is it worth it

It depends on if you are planning on getting a faster Internet connection anytime soon you might as well get the upgrade. Otherwise I would just stick with the 10/100, you'll do fine on most games if you have a good connections to start.

well i would recommend a 100 because i often use a 10 network hub and i have found it is better to get a 100 or a 1000 one.
