Default WiFi Router advice for a novice...

Hi Guys,

I have just placed my order for one of those new iPod Touch thingys and intend to make the most of its features. This means i could do with setting up a WiFi router for my home. I really don't have a clue which one to buy but don't want to be spending much more than, say £50 on one. Now i also have Windows Vista Ultimate so it would have to be compatible with that OS. Also, is it possible i might have to inform my ISP (Virgin Broadband) that i intend to go 'wireless' as i have read some users are experiencing problems setting there WiFi routers up? I take it that my WiFi signal can run alongside my regular modem (feeding the home PC) without any hassle too? Thanks in advance people, much appreciated...

£50 is about $100us. I have a setup like you are describing and paid just under that for the wireless router and usb adapter. Belkin.

The wireless router will hook into your current router. All in all it took about 10-15 minutes to set up. Works like a charm.
