windows vista laptop with broadcom wireless unable to connect to router Is the Dlink configured to broadcast its SSID ?
If so, Can the Laptop see the Dlink ok ?
Any WEP/WPA enabled on the Dlink ?
Are you getting any error messages ?
Vista can be problematic with Networks, but at this stage, you are not connecting at all, so compatibilty with the XP box is not likely to be an issue.
