i let windows run it, just use the drivers, maybe thats why. if your curious, its a WG111T USB 108mbps adapter, ive had to move back to windows 7 32bit 'cos i couldnt get it to work!

anyway, thread hijack over.

I'm 99% sure you're wrong about that. Maybe 5.4 is standard, but 54 would more like a server speed. You can view world speed stats here http://speedtest.net/global.php
