My current PC uses an external belkin wireless adaptor...Many times has this nearly been the death of me and how it has not driven me to madness is beyond me. But more about that another day...Basically what I want to know is, which works better the wireless card or the adaptor...I really hope the latter is not the answer...

Thanks
-Doug

They work the same.

If you are having problems buy a better spec product not a different type of the same product.

Yeh I thought as much. I havent used it in a few months, but upon trying last night I got an error message saying there was a power surge at the USB port the adaptor was plugged into. Now the thing wont work at all. It was always pretty tempermental, choosing when it was gonna pick up a signal etc. I think the model Number is 802.11g, have you heard any bad reviews on this item? Is there any wireless adaptors that you would advise me getting?

Thanks

They are all pretty much the same.

Stick to name brands and if needed get Mimo series equipment for better signal transmission/reception.
