Default Wireless connected, but no internet activity

I just installed a Netgear WG111T adapter on my laptop, and I can connect to my router wirelessly with ease, but I'm not getting any internet activity.

I've run the Windows Live Messenger troubleshooter and it says my Default Gateway is offline. I don't have a firewall so it can't be that. I wouldn't know what else to do.

Help would be appreciated,
Cheers.

I've used the router for about a year, it's been configured and everything.

I recently reinstalled Windows XP to find I have no wireless on here, so I had to install the adapter. It installed fine, and wireless connects fine, but I just get no internet activity.

When I go into My Network Connections I notice that there is no Default Gateway when the Wireless is connected. There always used to be before I reinstalled Windows XP.
