| hi all.... ...have a question regarding getting my laptop to go wireless for any area. I just bought my first laptop, had comcast internet hooked up, and then discovered that if I wanted to take it into Starbucks, Happy Donuts, Motels that advertise 'free Wi-fi' then I needed to set up a wireless connection. Can someone tell me what product to buy that would give me the best wireless connectivity. I want to move to Lousiana in the near future and want to be able to use my laptop wherever there is a chance of me using it (not at home) and especially when I get to Baton Rouge. Also do I HAVE to have an internet connection at home along with a wireless connection product? Thanks for the help!! Lisa |

| It really has not much to do with a program if its brand new then you should have a built in WiFi card if not you can get a usb WLAN card at walmart or virtually any computer store (sorry if I am patronizing). assuming you have a built-in you all you really have to do is make sure your computer's wifi is on and connect by clicking on the double computer icon on the right of your screen. |
