So my boss brought in her computer to see if I could do something about her wireless internet that stopped working. I'm pseudo computer literate as I am the tech person here, but I'm not so sure what's going on with her internet.

It's a tiny sony vaio running Windows XP professional. There is a switch for the wireless and it is switched on. What happens when I try connecting is that it will usually say it's connected, then I open internet explorer and it freezes. My boss said sometimes she gets to one page but it freezes again when she tries to get to another and has to reboot. I hit repair on the connection at this point and the error message said it could not be repaired because "no internet connection", though it appeared to be connected when i joined the network. Is this an issue with the computer, the browser, or the wireless card?

Thanks!
