| Hi I am new here, ive had my wireless connection running fine for at least 2 months now no problems, now not long ago maybe 2 days ago my internet started feeling slower, and my game pings were a bit slower. I noticed my bandwidth usage went to 1.3gb when in total my family and i used around 400mb. I guessed i thought someone probably hacked onto our network, so i reset the router but couldn't change password. However we have a WPA2 encryption, last month we had same problem but changed password and it went away. However today, i noticed my bandwidth usage was giving the correct balance. I do not think its a hacker, i think its some spyware which i can't seem to remove when it detects. Ive used about 8 different anti virus/ anti spyware scanners, and only avira and spyware doctor have picked up more spyware and removed them, but they keep coming back. It seems now past 2 days my ping in games has been spiking constantly and making my gaming unplayable, my surfing is equvialent to a 56k modem. I have a 54mbps thompson router 801.11g 2 rooms away on my mothers desktop, and im on my desktop which has a 300mbps edimax wireless adapter with 3 antennas that runs like it was connected to the router with a ethernet cable and its fast as the router goes!. Now my mother uses the desktop which is 2 rooms away with the router and has no problems, my younger and older sister share a laptop and browse youtube etc no problems and i never had lag spikes in gaming and slow surfing before unless they were downloading and using up all the download speed. Now its to the point i can barely surf, it feels like dial up and my gaming pings spike alot. My mothers desktop is fine, and the laptop is fine no problems. But only pc is having this problem, so far my connection says very good and good majority of the time. Ive done tons of virus scans etc and removed every single one, but it still does'nt change anything , it seems the virus or spyware come back as if they came back much more undetected. I don't know whats wrong. I can say ive used: NOD32 Avira AVG AdAware Spyware Doctor Anti Trojan Remover SuperAntiSpyware CyberDefender AntiSpyware Advanced SystemCare only a 2 of them picked up a couple of trojans and removed them but when i do a rescan the virus comes back again. I think that's whats causing my lag and internet to slow down progressively everyday. Ive done a Hijackthis scan: Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 12:06:10 a.m., on 14/06/2009 Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP3 (6.00.2900.5512) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe F:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\aawservice.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exe F:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\ekrn.exe F:\Program Files\NetLimiter 2 Pro\nlsvc.exe F:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\nTune\nTuneService.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrA.exe C:\PROGRA~1\SPEEDB~1\VideoAcceleratorService.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscntfy.exe F:\Program Files\Vista Start Menu\VistaStartMenu.exe F:\Program Files\RocketDock\RocketDock.exe F:\Program Files\Codebox\BitMeter\BitMeter2.exe C:\Program Files\Xfire\Xfire.exe C:\PROGRA~1\SPEEDB~1\VideoAcceleratorEngine.exe F:\Program Files\IObit\Game Booster\gbtray.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrB.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\usnsvc.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\Program Files\Edimax\Common\RaUI.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe F:\PROGRA~1\FREEDO~1\fdm.exe F:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\avcenter.exe f:\program files\avira\antivir personaledition classic\avscan.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe F:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust...search/ie.html R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.ask.com/?o=101764&l=dis R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://www.yahoo.com R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.yahoo.com R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyServer = : R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {0579B4B6-0293-4d73-B02D-5EBB0BA0F0A2} - (no file) R3 - URLSearchHook: DefaultSearchHook Class - {C94E154B-1459-4A47-966B-4B843BEFC7DB} - C:\Program Files\AskSearch\bin\DefaultSearch.dll O1 - Hosts: 69.16.243.105 L2authd.lineage2.com" O1 - Hosts: 216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com" O2 - BHO: Groove GFS Browser Helper - {72853161-30C5-4D22-B7F9-0BBC1D38A37E} - C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\Office12\GRA8E1~1.DLL O2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin\ssv.dll O2 - BHO: Windows Live Sign-in Helper - {9030D464-4C02-4ABF-8ECC-5164760863C6} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live\WindowsLiveLogin.dll O2 - BHO: FDMIECookiesBHO Class - {CC59E0F9-7E43-44FA-9FAA-8377850BF205} - F:\Program Files\Free Download Manager\iefdm2.dll O3 - Toolbar: DAEMON Tools Toolbar - {32099AAC-C132-4136-9E9A-4E364A424E17} - C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Toolbar\DTToolbar.dll O3 - Toolbar: Grab Pro - {C55BBCD6-41AD-48AD-9953-3609C48EACC7} - F:\Program Files\Orbitdownloader\GrabPro.dll O3 - Toolbar: &Yahoo!
