my friend has always used my internet connection via internal wireless card whenever she came over, and we never had a problem until a few days ago we were using her laptop to watch an episode of a tv show online and the internet suddenly died..i restarted the modem and router a few times but it didnt work. so we just left it alone..

the next morning the internet connection on her laptop still wasnt working, so i checked my laptop and the connection wasnt working either, but i unplugged my netgear wireless usb adapter, then plugged it back in, and it worked!

i then proceeded to check my mom's laptop, but the connection wasnt working on hers either, when i clicked diagnose, it said there was no problem with the connection! i disabled her wireless card then enabled it again, but that didnt work

i went back to my friends laptop, did the same thing, clicked diagnose, and it said something about ''policy provider:windows firewall filter name: query user''

please help!
