Default Wireless switch issue

hi i just installed a intel wm3b2200bg wireless card in my acer travelmate 270 laptop installed it fine works sorta i cant turn it on because i need a switch to make it receive and send it has a switch above the keyboard but it does not work i was wondering if there was a way to make it work.

I think I know what you are talking about.

I was able to find very little info out about your wireless card. I assume you rescued it from another laptop that did have the switch in the case.

Some pictures would help but I don't think you are going to be able to get it to work because I expect you need a special motherboard that has the circuity on it to control the card.

Why not just buy a normal wireless card? They are so cheap nowadays...

is this a mini pci card? if so make sure you pushed it right in (the conection is rather solid) i did the asme and it was because the pins werent making proper contact
