Default WUSB600N problem - Not showing as installed

I have a Linksys Network Adapter # WUSB600N installed on a desktop running XP. It worked fine for a month and then the computer would not read it being installed. Updated driver form Linksys website and it worked fine for another 2 weeks. It is now going out every couple of days. When I try to install the driver again it says the most current one is already installed yet XP still does not recognize it. Anyone else had this problem? When it is working it works great.
