Sounds like a graphics card issue.

A Google of nv4_disp.dll brings up Nvidia related problems.

Are you running the latest Nvidia drivers and latest directx?

i downloaded the latest drivers earlier. iv had the blue screen twice today, cant remember if i downloaded them in between or after. i shouldnt be getting them as soon as their out of date should i? because i do get them pretty frequently.

do u need to uninstall previous drivers?

The new ones should just install over the top.

You don't need to get them as soon as they come out, just as long as you do it once in a while.

Have you cleaned your PC of dust recently? The graphics card might be overheating.

Also, does it only happen in some games? Or does it happen in all games?

i cleaned it today, my graphics car idles at about 45 degrees gets up to about 65 in when im playing crysis. it happens if im just browsing the internet or doing anything aswell though, so it shouldnt be the graphics card overheating.

Uninstall the old drivers before installing new ones.

serverguy
what you say is only sometimes true.

For example I have these computers that will bluescreen 100% of the time if you install nVidia drivers over the top of the ones windows automatically installs.
