| Is there a way by which i can boot my computer from my pen drive which has windows xp instead of vista that is there on my pc ? |

| Unless your Bios supports booting from USB then the short answer is no.

| Yes, you have to check your BIOS settings for the Pen drive in the booting sequence. If it is available then it should be possible to boot from your pen drive. |

| just checked and there is an option for the same. now what steps should i follow to use my pendrive as a bootable disk ? |

| Take a look at the pic below. You will see that the floppy disk is the first boot priority, what you need to do is opt for that and cycle through the options, one of which should be USB. It should boot from your USB containing XP. Most BIOS's operate on the same principle just make sure you save the setting when exititing. |
