Default Bsod Once, Then Gone!

Hey everyone. for MONTHS i've had various blue screens, i'm not going to troubleshoot any right here becuase i've simply had enough.

The other intersting fact is what i'm going to touch on; possibly resolving the whole blue screen situation.

I boot up my laptop, it reaches the desktop and, regualar as clockwork, the laptop blue screens within five minutes (sometimes straight away, sometimes 5 minutes in), always with one of around 5 error messages.

I then restart the laptop, and its fine! for hours. it doesnt blue screen again. The blue screen happeneds when i havent been on my laptop for a couple of hours.

Any ideas people? Thanks alot.

No I think it is software related, toolbars are good at giving errors. Cant be 100% sure though.

Or it is malware. Have you ran any spyware/virus scans? If so which ones?

yes, as you say it is normal for drivers to shutdown after powering off the laptop, however my point was that its possible some drivers are failing to start first time round when you the laptop boots....

however i agree "evil fantasy" try running AVG for viruses or ad-aware for malware or adware issues, both can be found free at http://www.download.com or http://www.sourceforge.net . hope this helps...

its quite possible that thre an issue with the programs but it depends where u got them from,
If ure sure there from a reliable source i shuldnt worry to much. as for nortan, i wuld never advise you to use it again, norton's company creates viruses to keep themselves in buissness. the idea is tht they create a virus put it on the market and then encourage you to bye the update to protect yourself....

however i do suggest you try the programs i suggested earlier, there both from trusted sites...

That is enough to get the thread locked. TCF does not support any illegal activity in any form.

If you want help read this and post the proper logs.
