Hello,

I recently tried installing Windows XP Media Center Edition on my PC. After it loads all the necessary files and goes to the selection screen (where it's possible to press ENTER, R, and F3), a BSOD immediately appears; sometimes, it appears after I press ENTER. Aside from that, it is not only one BSOD error, but different BSOD errors each time I try it (sometimes with some hardware modifications, such as changing RAM, disconnecting USB devices, changing display adapters).
So far, the BSODs I have received have the codes:
- 0x00000050
- 0x000000D1
- 0x0000008E
- 0x0000000A

What could be the cause of this?

Is this a fully legal Microsoft produced disk?

Yes, it is 100% genuine as far as I know. Bought not long ago; installed it on a hard drive, formatted HD, but cannot install it back due to the problem posted above.

Do you know if this computer is stable? Has it had an OS on it before?

Not sure if the computer is stable or not. It is a Compaq bought long ago, so there was an OS in it before. The HDD was formatted quite a few times and reinstalled with an OS after format.

some of these errors indicate the the IRQs are the same for one or more device, try installing it when there is no periferals plugged into the Pc.
