Default Can I upgrade Windows Millennium key?

I have just bought a laptop that has Windows Millennium installed on it, and the product-key sticker. However, I want to upgrade to Windows XP...
I know how to go about doing this and have a Windows XP CD but don't have a product-key for XP. Is there any way I can upgrade my ME key to an XP key at a discounted price??

No

At least I don't think you can get upgrades for ME to XP.

Best just to buy a new XP licence. You can get them for about £60.00.

You can upgrade your ME installation to either an XP home or pro package.

Here is the upgrade chart

$99 Direct from Microsoft

I suggest browsing on Amazon first

Sorry, that was my bad. I didn't check my facts first.

But I have just gone and had a look and from what I saw it is cheaper to buy the full edition of XP than an upgrade because you can get the full edition for £60 but the upgrade is only in retail edition and comes in at about £90.

If you bought it from the link that the other person gave you then you would have to pay a lot of shipping and taxes and it would be the American edition (not that that makes much difference)

Your choice.
