Can You Get Windows Installed - Ei Systems make Operating System CD

hi,

can you get windows reinstalled, i had bought my computer from pcworld a e i systems on windows xp i have the windows serial on the back but its a group licence from dsgi is they anyway i can get a windows xp c.d from anywhere or make one off another computer and put my serial number on it.

There may be software on the machine that will make a backup CD, depends on the brand/model. Other than that, you should have a recovery partition (A section of the hard drive allocated with the setup files to do a restore). Again, depends on the make/model.

The ei system is a ei systems ei 204 i have tyred the recovery by pressing R but it goes it to recovery mode nd just dies and says wont recovery corupt data
