now my Vista system(amd3500 64bit) has a Vista home premium 32 bit operating system(dumb, dumb dumb me not to check for 64 bit) and apparently 32 bit XP sp2, so...
...can i upgrade to 64 bit with XP or Vista?

reason i ask, as i dumb ass got standard XP home and loaded 32 bit on my NEW PC amd 3800+, that had 4 gig of ram....and reads MAX 3 gig, dumb, dumb, dumb...thats how i learn...trial and error....it seems to be my life....

I'd upgrade the XP to 32BIT Vista, but see no point going 64BIT, no software uses it and drivers are thin on the ground.
