I am using Fujitsu FMV-Biblo(limited in Japan).Windows Vista Home Premium. they changed their policy lately and my PC does not come with a Recovery Disc or even an original Windows OS disc. Without knowing I don't have both of them, I accidentally reformated my PC without doin back up or recovery. So, no choice i borrowed my friend's OS disc and reformatted my PC for temporary usage cause I dont have product key. Lucky or not, I have another Windows XP OS disc on my hand. However when i tried to set up, it says that my hard disk has problem and have to run CHKDSK. I did it but the problem still persist. Please help me.

PS: The company actually offers recovery disc set.But claims tht if changes of HDD partiton is done, the disc set MIGHT not work.
Wht shld I do?
