Default Can't start DHCP client

Just something I was curious about, not a big problem I guess. But everytime I log on, I have these entrys on my eventviewer:

ERROR (date) (hour) Service Control Manager -- just one
ERROR (date) (hour) DCOM -- lots of this one, and one of this:
WARNING (date) (hour) Tcpip

That's in the order of appearance in the log. Also, I can't start this service: "DHCP client", which is set to automatically and I guess this is the cause of these entrys.
Well, I have no clue about this. If you guys have, please let me know.
Thanks!

Does it have a number with the error?

well, yes:
DCOM - 10005
Service Control Manager - 7001
TCP/IP - 4226
These numbers are the Event ID. There isn't error dialogs popping up, just these entries on my eventvwr.

It is hard for me to give you an answer to this one since there are so many things that could cause it.

Do you have Zone Alarm installed? It can trigger these errors.

As long as they don't interfere with how the computer runs I would suggest just to ignore them.

As serverguy said, if they are not causing problems and nothing is broken, dont try to fix it.

If you want to satisfy your curiosity though ..... have a read here :
