Default Confused by my desktop icons

Hi guys,

Recently I acquired Cubase LE (came with my synth), this finally allowed me to uninstall cakewalk express (which was designed for 16 bit originally!). I set my MIDI files to open by default in Cubase (open, cubase LE, always use this application). However, instead of the icon being the cubase symbol (when it was set to open by cakewalk by default it was the cakewalk symbol), it shows the Windows media player icon. (You know the piece of paper and the WMP symbol). Why is this?

Have done a registry clean, disk cleanup and defrag and there is no spyware. When I open the file it open with cubase too!

Anyone know?

Cheers

Tom

if you just want to change the icon, right click select properties then change icon, select whichever icon it is that you actually want.

There isn't a change icon button. Don't forget it's a file not a program.
