Hey forumers! Today when I turned on my laptop, it wouldn't let my copy paste anything anymore. I've tried both methods:
- highlight then CTRL + C, CTRL + V. - highlight, right mouse click and then do Copy ---> Paste. It doesn't let me copy paste anything from my browsers (IE7 and Safari for XP), nor will it let me copy paste stuff from Notepad or other applications. Has anyone had this before? If yes, how did you solve it? P.S. I'm running on XP Pro SP2. Edit: Just figured out that my numpad doesn't work either (Alt + x), and yes.. I have tried Numlock. 2nd Edit: Nvm about the first edit, Safari for XP just doesn't support alt keys yet. |

Yes, I installed a program called "VIP Privacy" not too long ago, but when I tried to copy paste on a different user account which also has VIP Privacy installed, I could copy paste without any problems.

Is there a way to disable VIP and then restart the computer without it running to see if it clears up?
I once installed a program that had nothing to do with the mouse or keyboard and a few days later I lost my right-click functions due to the program. |

Yeah, you can simply uncheck the "Start up at Windows boot" and it won't turn on at all at next reboot. I've tried this too, but my copy paste function is still disabled in some way.
