| hi there well i done something really stupid guys. i had windows XP pro sp2 installed on half of my 150GB HDD. and half was ubuntu linux... so i decided that linux was annoyin me so i deleted the partition... now i cannot get into anything. when i just leave the computer to load it comes up with a grub error 17.. so i thought why dont i reinstall windoews? i put disk in then sez it has an error 7 before i get to do anything so now im screwed. ive tried a few different xp disks to see if that was the disk but nope lol. everything on the system was working great till i deleted this partition. any help would be great and highly appreciated. cheerz guys |

| http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TestDisk will get you running again.
