hi there well i done something really stupid guys. i had windows XP pro sp2 installed on half of my 150GB HDD. and half was ubuntu linux... so i decided that linux was annoyin me so i deleted the partition... now i cannot get into anything. when i just leave the computer to load it comes up with a grub error 17.. so i thought why dont i reinstall windoews? i put disk in then sez it has an error 7 before i get to do anything so now im screwed. ive tried a few different xp disks to see if that was the disk but nope lol. everything on the system was working great till i deleted this partition. any help would be great and highly appreciated. cheerz guys

here go to supergrubdisk.org and download the CD version when you do shut off your computer and turn it on withn the disk in the drive when it comes on choose help with restoring mbr the one with indication for windows. The one with sad faces for the guy who made it is a linux lover. You could if you want restore grub but I have never done just restored the window's MBR and and re install ubuntu.

summery
download CDROM
burn iso to CD
boot with disk in drive
fallow instructions.
EASY
