Hi,
I am a new member here. I have a question. I just bought a new machine a month ago. This is the spec: MOBO AsRock X58 Deluxe Intel Core i7 920 2.66 Ghz 6GB RAM (2 x SLI) NVidia GeForce 9600GT Realtek HD Audio 7.1 (On Board) Samsung DVD Writer SH-S223L SB01 I am currently using Vista Ultimate X64. I am wondering, does anyone know if Windows XP 64bit will support all the hardware that I mentioned above? Will Windows XP 64bit support dual GPU? |

x64 XP is absolutely terrible and isn't supported driver-wise at all, avoid it at all costs. Buy 7 x64 when it comes out or Vista.
Also, that's a very poor spec build, the 9600GT Is a budget card and two of them isn't going to help. It's way imbalanced in favor of a CPU that won't do anything for you and if you're going to try to game on it I would get a better graphics card.
