dual boot now xp wont boot ntldr missing If I am correct in thinking you had xp already installed and then you installed vista on a second partition, if this is the case vistas boot manager has over written xp's master boot record so xp can't find the ntldr file. You could try a repair install of xp to restore this file, failing that if you can access your xp documents via vista you could do a clean install of xp.
Hope this helps
