Hi can anyone help?Lately I seem to have acquired a number of really annoying errors.I am running Windows XP Home Edition. The first one states Photo Gallery. The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disc that is not available.I then click to cancel it and I get please wait while windows configures Photo Gallery followed by error 1706 No valid source could be found for product Photo Gallery. The windows Installer cannot continue. This is then followed by Microsoft.Net Framework. An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.IT DOES'NT AND ITS DRIVING ME MAD.Right calm again now.Been in touch with Coverplan and they say system has to be recovered to factory settings and I must back up all my work.Anyone got any simpler suggestions as I am far from Knowledgeable on computers.

Many Thanks
Tony Jenkins.

Do you have a photo gallery program listed in add/remove programs in control panel?

Could try uninstalling it...

Ok, I think every time you do a certain thing it is trying to install Photo Gallery from CD, which of course, is not present.

Try using Windows Install Cleanup Utility, or you could try removing all file associations with Photo Gallery.
