Default Explorer.exe and Dr Watson postmortem debugger problems

I'm having problems with my PC since I got the new stuff (the stuff in my profile) and the problems I am having, is that at times, an error comes up saying either "explorer.exe has encountered an error and needs to close" or "Dr Watson Postmortem debugger has encountered an error and needs to close" Most of the time they happen together, but can be in any order, but the second one usually occurs once I have sent the error report.

Basicly, I want to know if anyone knows what's wrong, I don't think it is a malware problem because I have been having the problem almost from the day I installed Windows, but I am running through the malware removal thread, and will post the logs when they are created.

As for when it happens, it can be at any time, without me really doing anything (that I can remember anyway) but a lot of the time it is either when I press start (the start menu doesn't show at all, the error comes up instead), or it is when I right click on a file (again, no menu)

If any more info is required, I'll do by best to answer.

Thanks
