Default Folders Show up as Empty

Hi all, My 1.5Tb seems to be giving issues. Two folders containing about 700gig shows up as empty all of a sudden. When I double click on them, the "Do you want to format" window comes up. Under My Computer the drive shows as 100% full as it was before ...

Default Folders Show up as Empty

Hi all,

My 1.5Tb seems to be giving issues. Two folders containing about 700gig shows up as empty all of a sudden. When I double click on them, the "Do you want to format" window comes up.

Under My Computer the drive shows as 100% full as it was before this problem started.

What can I do to fix it?

Windows provide you the facility of doing 1 thing in several ways
there are several way to open a folder
1) go to run and type the full path If this doesnt work
2) create a short cut to that folder If this doesnt work
3) go to command prompt and try to open it

If this also doesnt work then there is only 2 ways left
1) Format your PC
2) find another computer having same os copy is registry and pest it to your system
I think this will solve your problem

Sorry but that advice is completely wrong, especially copying & pasting registry items ..... this will almost certainly trash the system.

Can you tell us a bit more detail about the drive .... i.e. is it internal or external ?
if internal is it your OS drive ?
